Something So Right

When something goes wrong
I'm the first to admit it
I'm the first to admit it
And the last one to know

When something goes right
It's likely to lose me
It's apt to confuse me
Because it's such an unusual sight,
I can't get used to something so right...

You spend your life looking for answers. Spend it looking for the right way. Spend it wondering if you know anything at all.

And then, one day, everything comes together. Career, friends and, most of all, vision and possibility. Like a successful summit you look at it and wonder how in the hell it happened. Felt like being on automatic, maybe felt like just being sick.

Sometimes you’re just not supposed to know.

Ride the wave.

  1. I wrote something similar, but not as eloquently stated, last week! I think its called life? Glad things are going well. Cheers!

  2. Thanks, H. I think life is what happens to get us to this point. Beyond that, it's Valhalla.
